Are you going to be substitute teaching this year? Substitute teaching can be a lot of fun, but it is also the type of job where you need to be ready to jump right in every day! How can you be sure to be prepared for every single day?
It is a great idea to be prepared with lesson plans in case you are left without enough, or worse, no plans for the day! When I was subbing last school year, there were several times I was not left with enough material to cover the full day. This can be a very stressful situation! It inspired me to start creating my own sub plans. I have compiled a full day of Ready to Go Sub Plans sub plans for Kindergarten-6th grades into my Elementary Substitute Teaching Resource Binder!
Each grade level begins with an outline of the day and details about what pages need to be copied. You could also have these copied ahead of time so they are ready to go!
